Hundreds of students prepare for Tadra Kahani
Tacirua Primary School is confident of making a mark in this year’s Tadra Kahani competition with the theme "Making Wise Decisions" and a school of enthusiastic children aware of the importance of their chosen theme.
Consisting of over 50 students from Class One to Class Eight, the students were not only taught the importance of the theme but also how to work together as a team and school.
Teacher and co-coordinator Ms Miliana Ratulevu said the whole production from the backdrop to the choreography involved not only teachers but all the students as well.
"When putting all this together we hope to teach our students more about the theme, what it means and how to implement the theme in their daily lives," she said.
This year’s Tadra Kahani is being sponsored for the fifth year by Telecom Fiji Limited under the brand Connect.
Connect General Manager David Eyre said Connect's support towards this event was a testament to the commitment by the company to the community by investing in education and projects that develop our students.
"It is encouraging to see the continued participation of schools from all over the country," he said
"An indication that talent does exist in our youth in Fiji and Connect is proud to be associated with this platform that will nurture this talent."
